I am attempting the Bupa Great North Run 2010 on the 19th September. For those of you who don't know me, I have run in a few 10k races this past year, but this is the first time i've stepped up to a half marathon so it will be a challenge to say the least!

In doing this I hope to raise money and awareness for Macmillen Cancer Support charity.  I, like millions of others, have close friends and family who have been affected by this terrible disease and therfore want to do all I can to help anyone who may find themselves in a similar situation.
