Story
On the 12th december 2012 after a long and very brave battle with lung cancer my beautiful nana passed away. My nana was my second mum growing up, she made the best mince and tatties and amazing home made soup! My nana originally got a diagnosis of COPD which meant she was on oxygen machines and walking even short distances were a real struggle, she later got diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. Devastating news. The work that macmillan nurses did through this time was fantastic and I can't thank them enough!
As always im unprepared, unorganised and unfortunatley unfit!! Regardless of these minor issues I'm going to run 10k (6.6 miles) in aid of macmillan. I plan on running this under an hour, but to be honest if I finish it without the need of an ambulance I feel that's an achievement In itself.
On a more serious note, if your visiting this page It's more than than likely to sponsor me and donate to macmillan. I cant thank you enough for your generosity!! all the money raised will be going to macmillan to help them to support those affected by cancer.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
