I am joining 13 other parents to climb the 3 peaks of Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowden in 24 hours. For someone who has a fear of heights and hasn’t climbed any of them yet (eek), this is an endurance challenge and a half that ends with a climb up Snowden in the dark with head torches. This means 23 miles of walking, 10,052 feet and 462 miles of driving across the UK, all within 24 hours. I will be training for a full 6 months to ensure I can do this.
