SimpsInns 21-day Lockdown Challenge
Join us for the SimpsInns 21-day Lockdown Challenge and help raise funds for our frontline heroes at the NHS and other key workers plus help local Ayrshire charities in need of some support at this difficult time.
We are inviting any member of our SimpsInns team and Gailes gym and spa members (and family members most welcome) to join us to try and complete 100km in 21 days during this current lockdown. We’ll kick things off from Monday 20th April.
By using our one hour’s daily exercise, we’re asking you to either walk or run 5km each day (or in any other way you can manage) and to do so will get us all to the magical 100km target within 21 days. Remember, this is a bit of fun and a chance for us all to do something together and for a good cause.
If you or family and friends can manage this, we are suggesting you donate £5 through the SimpsInns JustGiving page we have set up where funds will go to the NHS Ayrshire & Arran Health Board plus nominate five other people on Facebook to join us on the journey.
If we can work and support each other, we will be raising funds for such a worthwhile cause just now. If we set a target of £1,500, Simpsinns owners Malcolm and Karen Simpson promise to support their team and will donate £15,000 with proceeds going to the NHS and designated Ayrshire charities we know are struggling just now during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Each day we will look for pics showing you during your exercise hour. Remember we can reach our daily 5km any way you like.
We know so many are preparing for the KiltWalk fundraiser at this time of year, so this could the perfect opportunity to show your support for a great cause!
