This was my first fundraising trek and I did it to help the following children's charities: Barnardo's; Dreams Come True; Kith & Kids; and MedEquip4Kids. All of these charities work with sick and disadvantaged children. Through your generosity I reached my inital fundraising target of £2,500 three months ahead of the trek, and my extended, personal target of £4,000 a month after my return.

I was in a group of 42 people, and we walked and climbed ~90km over 5 days from the Dead Sea to Petra. We were led by Bedouin guides and slept under the stars. I trained hard to ensure that I was fit enough to complete the challenge and I loved every single minute of the experience.
