'Keep calm and drink a beer' - perhaps not the most appropriate badge for a school prefect to wear, but one that summed up Simon's easy going attitude to life. He made so many friends in his 17 years, and always wanted to do whatever he could to help people. Of course, if helping people provided an opportunity to eat then so much the better. During 2011, Simon had been working with others at school on a project to raise funds for Water Aid, and international charity that uses practical solutions to provide clean water, safe sanitation and hygiene education to the world's poorest people (see http://www.wateraid.org/uk/).

There are no targets, but if Simon is able to continue to benefit Water Aid and the many people who they help in the World's poorest regions, that would be a fitting legacy.
