UPDATE
Well, I did it! And all I can say is that I didn’t know a human body could hold so much mud and still function. My socks were left at the scene (being by that time more field than sock anyway) and my trainers may never be the same again.
Joking aside, I actually enjoyed the experience - great fun and camaraderie - though perhaps not something I'll repeat any time soon!
Thank you to all of you who have donated so generously and helped me to smash my original target so easily. I didn't know what to expect and am amazed at the generosity. It is a worthy cause and the funds will be much appreciated by Parkinson's UK.
Enjoy the photos - I may have some more to upload in the coming days.

I'm not quite sure how it happened but I have entered the Wolf Run taking place on Saturday 26th April!
For those of you who've not heard of it, the Wolf Run is a hardcore 10k cross-country run over fields, woodland, ditches, lakes and invariably involves lots and lots of mud.
There are a number of obstacles throughout the course, manmade and natural, designed to test each runner's mental and physical strength, skill and stamina. It will be a combination of running, climbing, jumping, wading, crawling and swimming and is designed to challenge every participant to the max.
I have a reasonable fitness level to start with but running is not my natural sport so I'm quite sure it will be a test, especially if my Sunday morning runs are anything to go by!
I'm raising money for Parkinsons UK in memory of my late Father Ken and I'd be really grateful if you could help me reach my target.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my page.
