I am a first-year undergraduate at the University of Hull and i am also a member of the Hull University Boat Club. Having only been a rower since October (before which it was very difficult to move me from the couch) this is a very challenging task for me to complete. However, having had - and still have - friends and family in the armed forces, this would be a great opportunity to show them that people are willing to face challenges to support them and raise money for what they are doing for our country.

I will be spending 6 days rowing 2 hours on, 2 hours off, 24 hours a day setting off from the London Eye, rowing down the River Thames, across the English Channel, up the River Seine to the Eiffel Tower In Paris - a total distance of 815km - in rough seas, against tide and river flow.

This is both a mental and physical challenge and i want to raise as much money as possible. Any donations, whether large or small, are welcomed.
