John sadly passed away on 13th August after finally succumbing to Parkinson's. The last few years he stoically fought on despite this debilitating disease with good humour and a glint in his eye. 

Rather than receiving flowers, Johns family would  welcome a donation in his memory to Parkinson's UK.
