Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My name is Simon Gardner and I’m a 46-year-old father of four. I have a busy home life and an equally busy work life but where possible I love to be able to support groups through charitable events and have been doing so since 2020. So far, I have raised money for different charities during the last three years in excess of £2,500 thanks to the generous donations of friends and family.

This year I have decided to set myself another challenging target of exercising the distance of north to south pole which is a colossal 12,430 miles within the 12 months. This distance will be covered in the form of steps, running, walking, cycling, rowing and any other distance-based exercise to get me to my goal.

This year I will be supporting Mind who are a leading mental health charity. They provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. It campaigns to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding. With more and more people from all walks of life requiring access to their services its more important than ever to support them where you can.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
