Thank you for taking the time to visit the Team Underwood JustGiving page.  The Royal Park's Half Marathon has become a fixed event in the Underwood calendar.

The team has been training hard all year.  Amanda has been fighting off plantar faciitis (sore feet), Jenny has been struggling with patellofemoral pain (creaking knees), I have been working really hard on my smoking (trying to give it up!) and if Nick's skill and ability to talk about running is matched by the pace then some of the elite runners will need to watch out!

So, we expect to go faster this year and with that in mind we want to raise a little bit more for charity.

We are supporting the Meningitis Research Foundation's 20th anniversary year and the memory of a young lady called Megan.  We will leave you to look at the MRF's website www.meningitis.org to find out more about the truly tragic impact that meningitis can cause and the good work of the MRF.
