Plunkett is a UK-wide charity working with communities who are facing the loss of a vital local facility such as pub, shop, farm or bakery. They support communities to enable them to take the dream of community-ownership and turn it in a thriving community business. Community businesses do more than just provide a service - they encompass community spirit; they bring work and training opportunities and they're a hub for social interaction to ensure no-one becomes lost or forgotten. By raising funds in support of Plunkett's services, together we'll be helping more communities tackle the issues they face.

I will be undertaking a circular walk starting in Beccles and encompassing The Racehorse at Westhall and the Locks Inn at Geldeston both of which have been supported by the Plunkett foundation. At around 19 miles this will be a full day of walking and any support shown will help me get through!
