Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

With wonderful support of family and friends from work and home I've been raising money for the last few years to help fight cancer while several people dear to me have been fighting it themselves.

Each year I've tried to step up as I ask for even more of your generosity; from Sprint triathlon to Olympic triathlon to Half Ironman, from Ride100 to Leatherhead to Wales,, from 10km to Half Marathon - so what next?

Well it's been a long journey to get here and there's a lot of steps between now and April 23rd, but as it's my 50th Birthday this year (and having been inspired by my big brother, Steven, who did his first marathon last year just before his 50th) I thought it was time I attempted my first MARATHON!

And with huge thanks to Epsom and Ewell Harriers for giving me a club place my first ever marathon will be The London Marathon!!

I'll provide updates and photos on this page along the way as I build up the mileage. I damaged my knee in November so I've started a little late, but I've got several half marathons in February and March to check progress.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. So please spare a little or a lot and help beat Cancer by donating now.
