Far too many of us have felt the pain of losing someone we love. With your donations, we power groundbreaking cardiovascular research to save and improve lives, bring hope to families, and keep hearts beating across the UK.

Story

Thanks for visiting my page. I am running the London Marathon, and raising money for the British Heart Foundation, in memory of Tony Pickett who died too young in July 2016. Tony was a wonderful person who I sang with in two choirs (The Bath Male Choir and The Bath Chorus). The choirs will be raising money for BHF throughout 2017 in memory of Tony.

The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £25 could pay for an hour of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target. Thanks!
