Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.  I am running the London marathon for Prostate Research and in memory of my father Roy Hawkes who died of prostate cancer and all who suffer from the disease.

The training has not gone as well as expected, but I completed the Tunbridge Wells Half Marathon where I received my medal from Dame Kelly Holmes! I also ran the Hastings Half Marathon which is a tough course. I plan just to enjoy the day and if I can get under 5 hours and beat the runner in the rhino costume that will be great.
