Story

My name is Simon Dyer 32 and from the deprived area of Blurton. Having started life with nothing other than the love of my family and friends life was tough and it was hard to have aspirations to acheive. However there was one lady who allowed this to be possible. Then to lose her in 2007 was devastating and it has taken 7 years to have the courage and passion to do something in her memory. Set the challenge to climb Kilimanjaro is a motivation factor for 2 reasons.

1 - The challenge of setting a goal and proving that anything is possible.

2 - To raise money and awareness of a charity that everyone in our fine city will be touched by at some point in their life.

I urge you to use my challenge as inspiration to give generously to this great charity and to ensure that my massive personal sacrifice is going to waste. I will be training hard and also pushing my myself to the limit to raise awareness and money for this massive challenge.

Keep posted on my FB page and follow me on twitter @_theyesman
