Just before Christmas 2013 my Dad collapsed in a supermarket while visiting relatives in the north east. Diagnosis was serious cancer, and all happening over a thousand miles from home in France.

We are doing this ride for some wonderful, dedicated people who made such a difference in this time of need and continue to do so. We would like to thank Dawn, Carole, Joanne and all at MacMillan Cancer Support in South Tyneside, you are the best!
