Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Over the last 40 years, the NECCR has supported Children's Cancer Research in the North of England, raising more than £20 million in the process.  With their support, Newcastle has built one of Europe's largest and most successful children's cancer research teams.  Scientists and doctors within the team have been involved in making discoveries which have changed our understanding of the causes of children's cancer and driven advances in how we improve treatment for patients in the North of England and around the world.

This year, one of Nick's best buddies was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a bone tumour.  If children's cancer wasn't enough of a reality for us, this year in particular we are hugely keen to do everything we can to support the NECCR to help researchers cure childhood cancer.  Please support us in whatever way you can, so that the team in Newcastle can do everything they can.  Many thanks, Simon
