Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Your eyes are not deceiving you....I am running the London Marathon in 2010!! For years it has been something I have wanted to do, and in the last few years that I have taken up running (short 10k runs in comparisson to the London Marathon) it has always been an ambition to run the London Marathon at least once in my lifetime....and Sunday 25th April 2010 is when I hope to realise this ambition!!!
I am proud to be running for Nightingale, an old age home in Clapham, South London. Nightingale offers their residents a home for life, providing total security and peace of mind regardless of how much their physical or mental health may deteriorate and is dedicated to providing quality care for their residents on a long-term or respite basis catering for the physical, intellectual, emotional, cultural, religious, social and artistic needs with sensitivity on an individual basis, while not compromising on the privacy, dignity and independence of their residents.
I have a massive fundraising target and with your help, I hope to not only meet my target, but smash it!! I am putting in the miles, all I am asking you to do is put in the ££s!
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now, and together with your help, on Sunday 25th April, we hope to have raised much needed funds for Nightingale.
Thanking you in advance for your generosity.
Simon :-)
