Rasselbock Backyard Ultra - Sherwood Pines · 4 March 2023

Devastating earthquakes have killed thousands of people in Turkey and Syria.

Story

Hi

I am taking part in the first ever Rasselbock back yard ultra in Sherwood Forest on the 4th March.

A backyard event requires you to run a 4.167 mile loop - on the hour every hour - which means you cover exactly 100 miles every 24 hours. The event is open ended and finishes when there is only one runner left. The current back yard ultra record is 101 hours and 420 miles!

To add some extra pressure to keep going I thought I'd try to raise some money for the disaster relief effort in Turkey and Syria.

My goal is to make it past 50miles and hopefully to 24 hours / 100 miles.

If you can spare anything to support it would be really appreciated

Thanks,

Simon
