7 years ago I started running and ran my first half marathon and raised money for Clic Sargent. 

This was because very close friends Darren and Davida Gass’ little boy Foster was given a 50/50 chance of living at just 4 months old after developing a tumour....he was in hospital for 4 months and lost a  3^rd  of his weight when having the tumour removed.....he's now 7 yrs old and a very healthy happy little boy... J 

Very sadly though about 2 yrs ago and totally unrelated his Mum aged 34 was diagnosed with terminal cancer....those who are fans of The Voice might have seen her last February as she managed to get her brother onto the show having never sang in front of an audience of any kind...she loved every minute of it & she looked absolutely amazing. 

Davida very sadly passed away in November last year which just goes to show what a wretched disease cancer really is . Clic Sargent helped and continue to help families like my friends in horrendous circumstances so that’s why I want to support them again this year. 

I know a lot of people are very generous these days when it comes to charity so I'm not setting myself a big target but if some of you can help me smash it I would be really grateful and I know Davida would too.
