We're a charity and we rely on your donations to protect and care for Creswell Crags. Thanks to your ongoing support, we can continue inspiring the next generation of archaeologist, and ensure our shared history is accessible to every visitor.

Story

Creswell Crags is an educational charity which welcomes visitors from across the country to learn, experience and discover the fascinating history of the last Ice Age and Stone Age. As a charity, the Creswell Heritage Trust, previously received local government support, however, this ended in early 2020. Since then Trust has sought the support of its visitors, through donations, ticket sales and car parking, to remain open and operational for public use and enjoyment. The generous support of our visitors helps us to teach children about prehistory and wildlife, supports vulnerable young people to learn and develop skills, and keeps the beautiful gorge maintained and protected for public use. In this unprecedented time of uncertainty we are asking for our visitors continued support to help us continue in our mission to preserve the site and educate visitor about prehistory and archaeology for future visitor to enjoy.
