Story
Last July I lost my mother to Cancer, we had her for 21 days from diagnosis to death. The number 21 has taken on a greater significance since that day. I’ve decided to run a half marathon (which believe it or not is actually 21k well just over). I will take a route through our lovely valley and finish at Aberbeeg Rugby Club as this is where we spent a lot of happy times as a family.
During the time where Mum was very unwell the hospice were not only a great source of comfort but their knowledge of the disease and how it impacts on family helped us ready ourselves (if you ever could) for the inevitable. So if I could help raise some funds for this fantastic charity with the hope that when another family needs them, they can still do their fantastic work then I’m sure that we will all take a great deal of comfort in this.
So please try and support as much as you can and help me raise as much as possible for not just this great charity but also in memory of someone so dear Our Kay x
