Brook's work is some of the most important there is for young people - every day Brook seeks to nurture and build young people's confidence and talent so they feel good about themselves, who they are and want to be so they can develop healthy relationships and choose whether and when to have sex. The ultimate aim that all young people will be able to enjoy and take responsibility for the sex they choose. 

Too many young people - like us the generations that went before them - are ignorant and embarrassed about their bodies, feel unable to say yes, say no or maybe. There is growing awareness of the levels of child sexual exploitation and abuse as well as violence in teenage relationships. At the same time our rates of pregnancy, and sexually transmitted infections including HIV are unacceptably high. 

This stuff affects all of us and we must not be conned that there is more information than you can shake a stick at online and it's alright now. Brook's work reveals there is but it's often not reliable.  Whatever you think about pornography, it's not the best place to learn about sex and relationships for the first time! I am sure that most of us would have benefitted from Brook's help when were growing up, and probably at times even now!
