Story

Time to Teach the Teacher and Bake Up Funds for The Seeing Eye

When Corona rocked the nation and my dream of attending sleepaway camp for the first time was put on hold, I turned to the kitchen to occupy my time with baking.  I quickly learned how to fill my sadness with a little sweetness.  

Throughout this past year, I have taught over 100 kids how to bake sensationally sweet treats all while baking up funds for various organizations.  To date, I have raised over $8,000 for various organizations.

I quickly have become known as THE TINY BAKER.

Help me fulfill MY THIRD-GRADE WISH by joining me as I teach my own Third Grade Teacher, Mrs. Norton, and the rest of my classmates how to make one of my favorite sensationally sweet treats; LAVA CAKE.

About the charity

The Seeing Eye's mission is to enhance the independence, dignity and self-confidence of people who are blind, through the use of specially trained Seeing Eye® dogs. In pursuit of this mission, The Seeing Eye breeds and raises puppies to become Seeing Eye dogs, trains Seeing Eye dogs to guide blind people, instructs blind people in the proper use, handling, and care of the dogs and conducts and supports research on canine health and development.
