Story
So many people that I know have had to deal with cancer. A good number of them are now fit and well again. Others are continuing to have regular check ups and treatment. Some, like my old friend, the writer Dorothy Nimmo, are no longer alive.
I am now in my early sixties. Though the months ahead will contain challenges for me, I am very grateful for my continuing health. I wish to celebrate that, to remember Dorothy and to help those who are now living with cancer. This is why I'll be running the Great Birmingham 10k.
