We provide help and hope to everyone living with dementia.

Story

I want to raise money to support care for Dementia and Alzheimer's sufferers in the UK. My family is all too aware of the suffering the illnesses bring. My Grandpa passed away after suffering from Dementia in 2008. My wife’s Nan also suffered from Alzheimer’s and sadly passed away in 2020 after being cared for at a specialist residential home.

I hope to raise awareness of these illnesses which are more common in society than ever and equally devastating to sufferers and their families.

Cycling has been my favourite pastime for most of my life, starting from jumping on a 100 year old tricycle at the age of 3 which is still being ridden in the family. From then I graduated to 2 wheels, lost my stabilisers and got into mountain biking as a teenager scooting around Delamere and North Wales with school friends (who I still ride with 25 years later!)

I rode 130 miles from Barrow In Furness to Liverpool a few years ago, this is going to be a heck of a step up for me mentally and physically. More importantly I hope you can support this great charity!

Lands End to John O'Groats has been a bucket list challenge for me to do, and I'm looking forward to getting stuck in.
