In 2015 I decided it was time to add a furry 4 legged friend to the family. Sasha had gone for months without a family. After seeing her video on the Dogs Trust website that was it - she was coming home with me. 

The staff worked really hard to make sure that we were both happy with each other by facilitating home visits and meetings at the centre. This support continued for weeks after Sasha settled - I knew they were just a phone call away to answer any questions.

So to say thank you for all their hard work both myself and Sasha are running in the Dog Jog 2020 5K run to fundraise for the Dogs Trust. We're also organising an online pet show as another way to fundraise - I can't be the only one with millions of photos of my dog on my phone! 

Due to COVID 19 our race was turned into a virtual run, I think Sasha will actually prefer that! We will complete this by the end of January 2021
