Story
Last year myself and a team of 3 other riders managed to complete 22 laps of the 9mile course that is the CLIC24. This year I aim to better this all by myself. Although this is indeed a very crazy target and I'm sure I'll end up in a ditch somewhere, I really think I'll be able to do it.
Last summer I competed in the British Marathon Championships (see photo), and at the top of the hardest clime was my family knowing they were there at the top of that climb on every lap had such an annoying effect on me that I forced myself to ride it every lap even though my body was in quite an exhausted state! Imagine the effect/pressure of riding for such a charity as CLIC will have on me. The more money you donate the bigger this pressure will be!
Little Sebby Salmon (a member of my church) was lost to Leukaemia last year, CLIC amongst other charities where there to help Sebby enjoy his short life to the max. Please donate so other families can benefit from the amazing work CLIC do.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Thanks so much for your donations so far, I've doubled my target! For now on every £10 given means I do a lap dressed in my stag do's chicken outfit see photos.
