In April 2019, Jen, my beloved step-mum, was diagnosed with Oesophageal cancer. Despite her best efforts and intensive treatment, Jen lost her battle with cancer on the 19th of December 2019.

During the final month of her life, Jen stayed at the Wisdom Hospice, where she received outstanding palliative care, and our family got the support in a lovely family environment to say goodbye to the most wonderful woman who greatly impacted our lives.

Holly and I are taking part in this event to raise money for the hospice so they can continue to provide outstanding care to people receiving palliative care and their families.
