Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In June 2011, my children's Daddy made the incredibly sad decision to take his own life. This has not only devastated my kids, but has left them with a lifetime of trying to accept and make sense of it. This is an on-going process and one which does not really ever stop.

In the past, Winston's Wish has supported my eldest; Jamie on residential weekends, where he has spent time with and befriended other children who have lost a Mum or Dad in the same kind of way. This has made him feel more normal, accepted and less anxious about what has happened.

In the future, Winston's Wish will support my younger two; Daniel and Jenna, as they learn more about how their Daddy died. I already owe them so much, which is why I didn't hesitate in running the Brighton Marathon on Sunday 9 April for them.

Please, please, help me, help them.................
