i am a volunteer on the support team for Run Geordie Run. My story is a simple one. I know what it is like to have a doctor deliver the news every parent fears... that their child's life is in danger. My youngest child, Levi, was born 12 weeks premature. We were fortunate that he was born in a hospital that wa ssupported by an organization similiar to the Children's Foundation, and because of their support, my son is a robust, healthy 18 yr-old. i want to do whatever I can to ensure other parents have the same positive outcome.

I am going to join Mark Allison for a few miles each day as he runs across America. My plan is to not only provide Mark with some "alongside" support but to also raise funds for a very worthy charity. Please consider sponsoring me.
