Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have decided to brave the elements on Parker's Piece on the night of 28th November 2009 in order to support the efforts of Streetbite (www.streetbitesleepout.com), both to raise awareness about homelessness in Cambridge, and to raise much-needed funds for Wintercomfort, one of Streetbite's nominated charities for the Sleepout.

Those of you who know me will be aware that camping out is not one of my favourite pastimes!  This, I hope, will serve to help you understand that I feel an extreme situation calls for extreme action, hence my involvement in this important event.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now, and thanks very much for your support!
