Leeds Half Marathon 2018 · 13 May 2018 ·

Established in memory of Hector Stringer, who died by suicide at 18, our charity is dedicated to proving suicide is preventable and that help is always within reach. Everyone deserves access to life-saving support. With your help, together we can offer hope and save lives.

Story

We're running the Leeds half marathon in order to raise money for a charity called Hector's House. It's a charity close to the hearts of many of our friends and one which does so much to raise awareness and try stop suicide and the stigma around mental health issues, especially with men.

As well as being 2 very unfit boys attempting to run this, we'll also be shaving our heads during the race. But not to worry, our precious locks won't be going to waste, we will be donating our hair to the little princess trust who make wigs for children and adults up to the age of 24, whom have lost their hair due to cancer or other illnesses. If you've been lucky enough to see both our hairstyles I'm sure just this factor alone is enough for you to get some enjoyment out of whilst donating a few quid to help a truly great cause.
