John was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease over 4 years ago , he leaves behind a loving wife and 4 kids Cian , Aoife , Shea and Alana . 

Shea is doing a sponsored silence ( which anyone who knows Shea knows this is going to be a huge challenge for him )!to raise money and awareness of Mnd in the hope that other families don't have to go through what we have been through.
