Sharon died on Saturday 20th July 2019 after a brave 2 year struggle against Cancer. 

On this day the world was marking the first landing on the moon and the technological strides to get there. Since that time there has been many technological advances made to make the world a ‘better place’ - but we still haven’t beaten Cancer.

When Sharon’s father died in January 2017, we decided to create ‘Team George’ and 15 family and close friends got together to complete the ‘Wolf Run’ in June 2017 We raised over £5000 and had a great time

We have created ‘Team Shazzy ‘ which comprises some of the ‘Team George’ participants plus additional family members and many friends. The date for the Team Shazzy Wolf Run is Sunday September 5th 2021, which due to Covid is the first date available. 

Team Shazzy, will be raising money for the QEHB Cancer Research (Melanoma) Trust and everyone has been training hard for the big event.

Whilst it will be a physical and demanding challenge, we aim to have some fun on the day too which will help us to honour Shazzy’s memory and by raising as much as we can we will help the hospital to make a difference too.
