Story
Right. Unless I have a football at my feet I can't run for toffee!
Actually that's a lie! If indeed someone were to offer free toffee/chocolate or beer I'm pretty sure I could drum up the inner resources needed to beat Usain Bolt in a race!
I'll be honest, I'm doing this because I was asked and one of the things that is incredible about my job is that you are suddenly in a position to help others. So, when asked, if you're free, I think you should help and give something back. However, that does not mean you will ever, EVER, see me doing "Celebrities Falling on Ice" or "I'm out of work get me in the Jungle!"
I'm petrified. I'm not sure I can make it having just recently gone for my first run and stumbled back into the house wheezing: "3K! I've only done 3K and I feel like i'm going to die!"
Your donations will help/encourage/blackmail me into running for The Alzheimer's Society in May (MAY? Bloody hell!!!) An incredibly important charity. None of us like to think about Dementia. We like to think it's something that wont affect us. The sad thing is that: "there are about 750,000 people in the UK with dementia."
It's a worthwhile charity and I'm glad they asked me.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
