£960
Samuel's Promise is a Special Named Fund at CCLG: The Children & Young People’s Cancer Association raising funds for research into low grade paediatric brain tumours and surgical advancements.

Story

Keith (Samuel's Dad) and Tony Shingler, Sales Director of Quest Employment, have a shared career history working in the recruitment sector with many problems discussed and coffee's drunk! Their mutual love of football and the highs and lows of being an LCFC fan has bonded their friendship. Of course, it was inevitable that Samuel would also share his dad's obsession with the beautiful game and Tony met Samuel at the King Power on a number of occasions. Following Samuel's death in February 2022, his family have set up Samuel's Promise as a legacy in his name as they strive to make a difference to children receiving a diagnosis of a brain tumour to fund research into kinder, more effective treatments or safer brain surgery in the future. Samuel was a local Leicester lad, he was kind, loving, thoughtful and football crazy, he loved life and he loved his home and family. With the support of Quest Employment, our partners and colleagues, we aim to raise funds and awareness and have fun while doing something worthwhile for Samuel's Promise.
