Story

A few years ago I lost two of my dearest friends, Julia and Carrie. I have struggled with that bereavement intermittently but quite significantly since then. I feel that if I had sought help from an organisation like Cruse, I may have found a healthier, more natural way to grieve and come to terms with my loss. I'd like to help them raise money to help people find comfort after losing a loved one.

Look at my picture. I love to fake it. Fake hair, fake lashes, nails, loads of make-up, tattooed to the hilt, eyebrows and lashes tinted, waxed all over etc......well, I'm proposing I go completely au naturel for January. That's a big thing for me. I'm proposing NO MAKE UP for an entire month. NO extensions, NO tinting, NO lashes, NO nails, NO ink done or on show for the entire month, NO metal t-shirts, NO big boots, nose piercing out....and NO waxing.

I've ran races and done treks for charity before but, shallow as it may sound, this is the most challenging thing I've ever done because it will be hard for me to deal with the insecurities of removing that mask.
