In May 2018 mike was doing a 100 mile charity bike ride across Devon, finishing in Plymouth. He had a life changing accident at Okehampton, after cycling 62 miles and was unable to finish. He spent 19 months away from his family in ICU and rehab, learning to cope with life in a wheelchair. He is still on his journey coming to terms with his many adaptations he needs to live at home. So to  end  the journey he started in 2018 myself, my sister and a friend are walking the 38 miles that remain.
