Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

About 8 months ago, a couple of days before Quinns 6th birthday Quinn started to complain of leg pain and within a matter of 24hrs was limping.  After calling the doctors and getting rushed straight A&E within a matter of hours we were being told some awful news……..

After having an emergency MRI scan within days, we got told better news and  Quinn  was diagnosed with Fibrodysplasia , a rare bone condition, in both his legs.

This condition is extremely rare and is usually found between the ages of 6-14 and is a lifelong condition.

In November 2022, Quinn was fats tracked for his 1st major operation on his right femur/hip to put pins, plates and a rod in to stop the leg bending anymore than it already was.  They tried to delay this operation but the leg had bent 10 degrees since he was last seen. He is now recovered and having regular physio and meds.

I am now desperate to spend my time raising awareness about this condition and raising money for this charity.  Please please help me in my mission in anyway you can.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.
