Hello! I am Md Shapon Mia. I have competed my 12 grade from Cambrian School and  College. We are 6 members in our family and I am the eldest one. I have one brother and two sisters.

My story started from the slum community of Bangladesh. I used to live in slum of Dhaka.There were a lots of kids like me don’t know what a "Dream" was. We were expected to go to work in the local restaurant, tea stall,  garments factory and work hard to provide a single meal for the family.

In 2006, all on a sudden like a blessings, my life started to change  after meeting a great lady—Maria Conceicao– who is the founder of Maria Cristina Foundation (MCF). This great lady taught me what a "Dream" is. She enhance my life with the best gift of all "Education". She believe that nothing but education can uplift a human from the darkness and can break the circle of poverty and by which people can improve their lifestyle.

My family members didn’t dream to send us school insteadof work but all this happen only for the great lady.I used to work in a tea stall, selling newspapers, going door to door and sell the cosmetics types products to earn our livelihood. In a word I tried to do every work through what I can earn money and can affords my family with food.

In my community people don’t think about primary education let alone higher education at a university of portugal but I do. Because today I know what a dream is. " Dream are things that don’t let you sleep". And now I know the meaning of life. 

In September 2020 I have arrived in portugal to complete my higher education.  I am studying  at the Politecnic University of Braganca at Portugal. And the name of my course is International Business Management(IBM) My course session fees will cost 7000€ including accomodation. I have collected 600 Euro by doing a part time job. Now I need all your support and help to fulfill my dream.

After completing my dream I will also help other to fulfill their dream.Because I know what is the value of "Help".

I will make all of you proud and try to give my best to the society. I will not let you down.  I promise🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏.
