Our 2016 Monte Carlo or Bust Banger Rally

Last year, Luis Gouveia, Grant Miller, Tony Waters & John Pemble took up the challenge to source a car for less than £300 and to take part in the 2015 Montecarlo or Bust Rally. The Rally Team ShakesGear was born and the search for a car began…

Our Car "BlackBeth" started life as a 2.5 Vauxhall Omega and was "restyled" for the 2015 Rally. Our Race number was 42 (Rule 3: It’s not a race) .
It was an epic adventure and the car survived to Rally again....

July 2016. Champagne Charlie Event.

The ShakesGear team, this year named Shakesgear55, will travel to the start in Saint-Quentin on the 21st July before burning rubber (Rule 1: It’s not a race) over 1000 miles to Monte Carlo via France, Switzerland and Italy. On route we will have to complete Top Gear type challenges in order to win the race (Rule 2: It’s not a race).

The team, with your help, will be raising money for The Shakespeare Hospice.
