Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page in memory of SGT TOMMY WARNER (R.A.O.C.Veteran) who died very peacefully with his family by his side after a short illness on 17 December 2019. His funeral will take place on 24 January 2020
Only the immediate family will buy flowers. Our mum Linda, would like people to make donations for the hospital scanner appeal in memory of the man she was married to for 63 years. Lymington New Forest Hospital is a small local hospital, only a few years old, bright, very clean and welcoming with great facilities and fantastic staff. We cannot thank them enough for the care given to our dad but can try to raise as much money as possible for their new scan equipment.
Donate to the Scanner Appeal £1,390,000
So far they have reached £644,178.59
Here is a breakdown:
CT Scanner – £575,000 (installed July 2019)
Ultrasound – £90,000 (due end 2019)
MRI – £725,000 (2020/21)
Our dad was in the Royal Army Ordnance Corps (R.A.O.C.) for 22 years. He and our mum raised us 6 children during their postings stationed from UK to Singapore and back. His service record is stamped 'Exemplary'. That word can be applied throughout everything in his life. An exemplary Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather. Exemplary soldier, friend and employee.
Dad had a huge heart and a huge capacity for fun and laughter. His kindness, support and love knew no bounds.
Tommy was admitted on 2nd December and received fantastic care from all the staff, who without exception also treated us with great care through a very difficult time.
