10Pl have chosen to support  Winchester Churches Nightshelter, a charity that helps members of the community in our local area. 

Winchester Churches Nightshelter has provided a safe and caring temporary homt to thos experiencing homelessness since 1988. It remains the only nightshelter offereng emergency accommodations to single homeless men and women in Hampshire.

The Pl’s aim is to swim the 15Km crossing of the Irrawaddy River in Myanmar (Burma), navigated by British forces during the Burma Campaign of World War Two. 

For some members of the Pl, 10 weeks ago the thought of swimming a single length of a pool was unimaginable. But with a some determination and drive, each member will overcome their own individual challenge to complete the distance. 

All support and any donations to the Pl’s chosen charity will be so great fully appreciated by the recruits and the Nightshelter.
