Story

Sometimes Oldies Club comes across dogs who – because of the physical or emotional damage they have suffered, or due to terminal illness – cannot be rehomed. In these cases, which have sadly become more frequent, we endeavour to provide long-term foster placements with experienced carers who will ensure these oldies know a loving, secure home for their final years.

We thought that it would be a nice idea for these lovely dogs to receive extra special presents for Christmas so we have set up the Sponsor Dog Secret Santa Scheme. Dogs included in this scheme can be found herehttp://www.oldies.org.uk/?cat=14

We ran a Secret Santa scheme last year which was very popular so we have decided to do it again this year.

Supporters can donate as much or as little as they wish. The money raised will be divided amongst our 12 sponsor dogs and their fosterers will be sent Pets at Home vouchers which they will use to buy their foster's favourite things and spoil them rotten. The more donations the more they can be spoilt.

Oldies Club is a dog rescue charity which is run by volunteers and helps dogs aged 7+. It often takes in dogs that have been neglected, resulting in large vet bills. Oldies Club places dogs in foster homes, where they are assessed and receive any veterinary treatment required before being rehomed.
