5k a Day in December

Fundraising for The Howard League For Penal Reform
£760
raised of £250 target
In memory of Sean Craib

Story

This event is in conjunction with Charlotte Flanders raising money through her Legal Aid Costs Conference on the 5th of December.

We are raising money for both The Howard League for Penal Reform and ANDYSMANCLUB ( shorturl.at/aEIN2 ). Whilst I would like to be able to donate equally to the charities, donations to either are so gratefully received.

I will be running 5km a day in the bitterly cold month of December in memory of my brother, Sean Craib.

Sean killed himself in December of 2017. He battled with his mental health but did not feel that he could reach out for support and sadly, in his final moments of despair, found he only had one option. As it approaches the anniversary of his death, we hope that we can raise some money for two worthy causes in his memory.

We are raising money for The Howard League for Penal Reform and ANDYSMANCLUB to help those in our communities. To encourage, in a safe space, people to talk openly about their struggles. To try and prevent someone else from feeling like they only have one option.

The work that Howard League does is so important in our society. It is important that resources are spent on supporting our communities, improving housing, education, jobs and access to healthcare.
