I have had ME since 1981 & had to give up work as a Financial Adviser in 2010. The illness affects 250 000 people in the UK.

ME Research UK funds vital & pioneering research into the disease.

Researchers such as Prof Julia Newton at Newcastle University have used the money to increase our understanding of this complicated illness which affects the immune & neurological systems.

I will be walking along the Thames for 1 mile at Lechlade during ME Awareness Week on 12 May 2016.
