Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
This event will be dedicated to the memory of Ava Jermiah who tragically lost her life on the 16th of April 2016 to this awful disease.
On Friday the 7th of July 2017, we’re trekking, running and cycling 59 miles through Snowdonia in the hope that people sponsor us. Our aim is to raise as much money as possible to help in the fight to defeat meningitis and septicaemia.
We start at the bottom of Snowdon, trek up to the summit and plant an “Ava flag” then back down the south side. When we reach the bottom we get our running shoes on, run 5 miles south to find our bikes, ride 32 miles through the stunning hills of Snowdonia, then run a further 5.3 miles up hill to the foot of Cadair Idris Mountain. Climb to the summit and leave another flag for Ava then back down. This is roughly 59 miles in total, 32 miles on bike and over a marathon on foot with 1,085 metre high peak and an 893 metre high peak thrown in for good measure. We have 16 hours of daylight available. If all goes well with no injuries and the weather's on our side we'll make it all in daylight but we're taking head torches In case we do get held up for any reason during the challenge. Either way, we'll finish!!!!
