On Saturday 14th March Tracy, Max, Nial and Sean are heading to Traquair House Nr Innerleithen to take part in The Mighty Deerstalker.  Described as one of the toughest off road runs in the UK, we will be facing 10k+ of mud, water, trails, scree, steep hills and a variety of obstacles designed to test our fitness, resilience and sense of humour! To make our tribulation complete we are doing all this in the dark! The reason for our madness is to raise money for The Cornerstone Project.

Within the community of Mayfield are some of the highest levels of urban deprivation in Midlothian. The recent community plan for Mayfield and Easthouses also identified a lack of facilities for families with young children. The Cornerstone Project is specifically designed to meet these needs. It comprises the complete internal redevelopment of Mayfield and Easthouses Church to provide a community cafe, training kitchen, soft play facility and flexible accommodation suitable for a wide range of groups and purposes. These new facilities will provide a safe and secure, inclusive and welcoming, environment where alcohol is not served.
